Relax, Even if You Only Have 5 Minutes

The absolute best thing you can do is take good care of yourself.  If you’re a busy woman or mom with tons of things to get done every. single. day, check out the ways you should be checking out:

If you have 5 minutes

  • Take a walk
  • Call or text a friend
  • Have a cup of coffee (tea, cocoa, etc.)
  • Light a candle
  • Open the windows
  • Blast your favorite song
  • Give yourself a quick massage
  • Cuddle your pet
  • Stretch
  • Deep breathing

If you have 15 minutes

  • Put on a face mask
  • Read a book
  • Eat a healthy snack/meal
  • Drink a bottle of water
  • Take a nap (Power naps are best kept under 30 minutes)
  • Do Yoga
  • Take a shower
  • Meditate

If you have 30+ minutes

  • Cook a meal
  • Have a picnic
  • Play a game (Evil Apples is my favorite app right now!)
  • Take a bath
  • Do your nails
  • Put on a hair mask
  • Pedicure
  • Listen to a podcast/TED talk
  • Netflix
  • Exercise
